I'm Lizzie-May, an artist and nature-lover based in a small village in Somerset, England.

 

I love to paint in gouache and watercolours, starting with base layers of loose brushstrokes and working on top with finer details to depict immersive garden scenes. I have developed my style after years of practise and painting what I love most.

 

I have a passion for horticulture and unsurprisingly most of my spare time is spent in nature and gardens admiring the intricacies of tangled greens and the perfectly formed flowers that grow among them.

 

I will forever be fascinated by the natural world and never get tired of capturing it in my art.
